Denn hier kehrt “Scheherazade” in den Palast des Kalifen ein, um sich an ihm für den Mord an ihrer besten Freundin zu rächen – und verliebt sich in den Killer.

Ein Mädchen, das sich in einen Mörder verliebt?
Ist das der Stoff, aus dem Märchen sind? Im Klappentext klingt an, dass der Schein trügen könnte und ich hoffe, die Autorin findet eine akzeptable Lösung für das, was im Palast wirklich vor sich geht. Denn wenn sich eine junge Frau tatsächlich in den Mörder ihrer besten Freundin verliebt – egal, ob dunkle Kräfte ihn dazu zwingen oder nicht – dann kann ich das eigentlich nicht gut heißen.
Trotzdem bin ich als Fairy Tale Fantasy-Fan neugierig auf das Buch.
