Momentan scheint es einen kleinen “Dornröschen”-Trend im Fairy Tale Fantasy-Genre zu geben.
Nach Rhiannon Thomas’ EWIG-Zweiteiler, Liz Braswells Once Upon A Dream und Kingdom of Sleep, dem neuen Roman der Tausend Nächte aus Sand und Feuer-Autorin E. K. Johnston, erschien jüngst SPINDLE FIRE von Lexa Hillyer.
Bei ihr hat Dornröschen eine Schwester. Und während erstere, gefangen in einer Traumwelt, eigene Abenteuer erlebt, versucht die zweite verzweifelt, einen Prinzen zu finden, der ihre geliebte Schwester retten kann.

Ich war zunächst skeptisch, ob ich mir eine weitere Dornröschen-Adaption antun will. (Maleficent hat so hohe Standards gesetzt). Aber ich muss sagen, der längere Klappentext macht mich wirklich neugierig.
